A.Lobos can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Santa Ana (0-4) 94-52 . A.Lobos forced 19 Santa Ana turnovers and outrebounded them 53-39 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. A.Lobos players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Santa Ana 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American center Marc Montavious (202-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American guard Jerome Savoy (185, college: Pfeiffer) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four A.Lobos players scored in double figures. American guard Daylon Potts (196, college: Simpson, CA) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and Luis Portal (188-1986) added 10 points in the effort for Santa Ana. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. A.Lobos (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Cojute and Santiagueno. It was Santa Ana 's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Ahuachapan.
